Double shot basket pressure not where single shot is

We have had our Barista Express for about a year now. Recently when using the double shot basket, the pressure only goes up to 8:00-9:00 on the dial. This morning my wife tried the single shot basket and it was at full pressure of about 10:00-11:00. She tried another and the results repeated. I then switched to the double shot basket. Same beans, same grind and it was back to 8:00-9:00.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Using the Sage dual boiler, I noticed this as well. I tend to grind a bit courser using the single shot basket, often just 1 grindsetting courser is enough. You could also reduce the dose a bit, but I would rather change the grind.
