No, I’m not going the way of the ESE pod. But lately I’ve been placing a pre-cut disc of filter paper over top the tamped grounds. It does a surprisingly good job of keeping the dispersion screen clean (relatively) but is an arduous task and perhaps too much to ask the barista to add to their processes.
Has anyone else experimented with this (especially in a busy bar scenario)?
